Answers to help you plan with confidence
Frequently asked questions

Do you charge by the hour or offer flat-fee pricing?
Whenever possible, we offer flat-fee pricing to give clients predictable costs and clear expectations. Some matters with greater complexity may require hourly billing, but all fees are explained and confirmed before any work begins. Our goal is to ensure clients understand their options and never face unexpected expenses.
What areas of law does the firm handle?
We focus primarily on estate planning, probate, and business law, along with related services such as real estate and trust administration. This focus allows us to provide deeper knowledge and more efficient solutions for the matters clients bring to us. Every case receives personal attention and a carefully tailored strategy to address each client’s goals.
Do I need an appointment to speak with an attorney?
Yes. We meet with clients by appointment to ensure each consultation is focused and productive. Typically, appointments and initial complimentary consultations are held via teleconference or Zoom due to changing technological needs and time efficiencies. However, in-person meetings are available, and in some cases a fee may be required in advance. During your appointment, we’ll review your needs, answer your questions, and outline the most appropriate next steps.
Are you licensed to handle matters in multiple states?
Yes. Jonathan Parker is licensed in Florida, New Jersey, and Hawaii, allowing us to assist clients with multistate assets, estates, or business interests. This multi-jurisdictional experience helps ensure that your planning and administration remain coordinated and consistent across state lines. Clients with property or family in more than one location find this especially valuable.
How can I get started?
You can contact our office to request an appointment, and our team will schedule a time that works for you. We’ll review your situation, answer your questions, and recommend the most efficient path forward. Our priority is to provide clear communication from the beginning so you feel informed and confident at every stage.
